    strategically repopulate needy areas of our cities


    the churches have fled urban cores for decades. what if we didn't simply send out individual church planters, but churches got together and strategically sent out their best people to advance god's kingdom as opposed to a particular church's expansion plans.

This is happening in a secular setting in the city of Detroit. The city is giving abandoned homes to police officers, if they will move back into that part of the city. Along with this, they are given $150,000.00 to renovate those homes. All for the purpose of having their influence back in the areas of the city that are needy.

Lon, this is a great idea once you read the explanation but the title is up for interpretation of course. Is this something like MoveIn? Not sure if you're familiar with them!?!
