Biography: Born and raised in Hamilton Ontario Simon responded to the call of Christ to engage in ministry. Simon established himself within the social service industry working in jails, group homes, drop in centers, shelters, and within the school system to engage youth and discover their needs, struggles, passions, and pitfalls. Discovering first had where and where/what the battle is, has aided in furthering his ministries effectiveness. Simon went on to completed a Bachelor of Religious Education and has spoke throughout Alberta and pastored in Central Ontario. After overcoming many trials in ministry, amidst a growing and flourishing youth group, Simon's rural church went through a major transition opening the opportunity for Simon's ministry to expand to working with disabled youth and adults within the ranks of Christian Horizons. Ministering to the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of those supported, Simon has a clear passion for his work and gains insights into the person of Christ and his call daily. Simon has a clear passion for relational ministry building rapports and relationships to those he ministers to. Simon has discovered his true passion for shepherding and the understanding that preaching is just 10% and relating/engaging through relationships is the other 90%.
