Canadian Bible Training Center, is a ministry of Cochrane Valley Community Church, in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada. Our church was established in 1980 under the leadership of Pastors Robert and Angela Butler and was originally named New Life Christian Fellowship. We are a nondenominational local church. Our pastors and Elders are all members of Ministers Fellowship International, which provides them with covering and ongoing support. The president of the our College and Senior Pastor of the church is now Douglas Mitchell. Douglas had worked and trained alongside the Butlers for twenty years. In January 2006 they gave over the reigns into His capable hands, and were released to fulfill their apostolic calling. Dr. Robert is still involved with the eldership of the church, and is the Dean of the Bible College. He also travels extensively with his wife Angela teaching, encouraging and strengthening local churches at home and abroad.
