Orangeville Christian School (OCS) was established in the early 1980’s by a group of Christian parents who wanted their children educated in the context of the Christian faith. It is mostly funded by the parents. Orangeville Christian School has certified teachers and meets and enhances the Ontario Curriculum. The emphasis is on excellence in a family context. Smaller classes allows for more attention to individual needs (Pupil/teacher ratio is 15:1). Teaching of French begins in Junior Kindergarten. OCS has an excellent band program as instrumental music is taught beginning in Grade 3.
