Timberline Ranch is an inter-denominational, Christian camp and retreat centre, situated on 73 beautiful acres, just 45 minutes northeast from Vancouver. Our motto is: “Bringing Hope, Building Lives,” which refers to our dual mission of reaching out to kids with the gospel and helping them to develop in their whole person (i.e. evangelism and discipleship).
Each summer, we run camps for 7-16 year olds. In the fall, winter, and spring, we run family camps, mother and daughter camps, ladies’ craft weekends, youth camps, “trail blazer” camps, staff camp, Leaders in Training, and more. We also host close to 100 guest groups during the non-summer months, including schools, youth groups, family reunions, Alpha groups, craft groups, and so on.
As an operational horse ranch, we are able to offer a wide variety of horsemanship programs and activities, including trail rides, vaulting, riding lessons (Western and English), cattle penning, rodeo games, and camping trips with the horses. We also offer many non-horse activities, such as archery, pellet guns, rock-climbing, rappelling, bmx biking, skateboarding, sling shots, sports, swimming pool, ropes course, team building, and so on.
We have many volunteer opportunities in everything from working with the kids, to leading activities, to cooking, to maintenance, to wrangling, to building projects! We have a wonderful, cohesive, supportive team, and we are always looking for godly, team-oriented people to join us.
