Only a 28-mile drive from the city (the majority on paved road), the valley imparts a sense of seclusion and peace, a place of rest and retreat from a busy world.There are numerous, well maintained riverside campsites to choose from, whether one wants to be part of a large group or have a private retreat. Power hookups ,a sani-dump, hot/cold showers, washrooms and coin laundry facilities are also available. Approximately 2 miles of shoreline and several nature trails beg for hiking and exploration. There is also a large playground, volleyball court, soccer field, and baseball diamond. As well, there is a beach area for swimming and sunbathing. The buildings include a 50' by 100' arch rib building with an adjoining, fully equipped kitchen, a 24' by 32' multi-purpose building and a variety of summer and winter cabins are available.Outside of our summer camp schedule or previous reservations, the grounds and facilities are available for rent, in whole or in part, in agreement with our policies and conditions.
