Led by twin brothers Adam and Jacob Goudreault, Remote Control may be the youngest new face in the Ontario Christian music scene, but they'll demand your respect and attention nonetheless. The band's radio-friendly pop-rock sound brings to mind bands like FM Static and Stellar Kart, but they also draw musical influences from the likes of Relient K and Anberlin. Lyrical direction is where Remote Control stands confidently alone, fusing real-life angst with spiritual themes, but doing so on their own fresh and creative terms. In an industry where every new artist is expected to fit a cookie-cutter mould, these guys aren't afraid to go against the flow to maintain their unique vision.
