In September of 2000, Joe and Daphne accepted an invitation to be youth and music pastors in a church in the Toronto area. “We learned so much in our tenure of full-time ministry. God really stretched us and showed us that He would never give us more than we could handle and that He equips the called”. In September of 2003, Joe and Daphne felt that the time had come to step out into full-time music. Meanwhile, they had begun recording their second CD in July of 2002 but because of priorities at the church, they only had a limited amount of time to work on it. They managed to release a single entitled ”The Cry”, which was a prayer for the nation of Canada. The song received an overwhelming response. In April of 2003, Joe and Daphne resumed recording with engineer/producer, Andrew Horrocks (formerly of the band “100 Days”) and now have a new CD entitled “Free”. “We are so excited about this record because there are heart issues, worship, outreach and praise songs that are a result of life lessons learned. We want people to know and understand that just because you are a Christian, your life will not automatically be perfect - that there are many highs, lows, blessings, and disappointments to deal with. That’s why we need God’s love, grace, and mercy to help us through these times”. our prayer As you listen to their music, their prayer is that you would be blessed, encouraged, and that you would know that there is a God who loves you. God can forgive your past, give you purpose in the present, and can secure your future. Trust in Jesus.
