The name ROBOT? was birthed out of a desire to ask a question: "Are we beings that simply do what the church and society tell us to do? Are we people who come to worship God out of reflex and because that's what we've always done? Or are we driven by the love and passion we have for Jesus to be His hands and feet in this world. To worship Him in spirit and in truth, to serve His people, because we long to see His kingdom come on the earth?" Our prayer is that all of us would be discovering just how awesome God is everyday and that how His love can break through any boundary. Robot? is a worship/hard rock band lead by Josh Lake (guitar), with band members Jock Hiltz (bass) and Shelton Swinimer (drums). Josh, Jock and Shelton are long-standing members of the Gateway Community Church worship team in Lower Sackville, NS and are passionate about drawing youth to a place where they can meet with God through their lyrics and music.
